- This is great news for everyone. Finally we can welcome business leaders and executives in-person again, says Christoffer Omberg, CEO & Co-founder of Oslo Business Forum.
Last week, the government announced positive news about the reopening of events in Oslo. With this information, Oslo Business Forum is now confident that the event can take place with a minimum of 500 participants in-person on September 29, 2021.
- Customers and partners are hungry to get back to physical events again. We have gotten a lot of great experiences by organizing online masterclasses, bootcamp and events the past year, but nothing can replace the experience of being present live with peers and world-class speakers. Now we are back, better and stronger than ever before, says Omberg.
If the situation allows it, Oslo Business Forum will increase the capacity on-site, closer to the event. In fact, the demand after attending in-person is big and the event is already sold out. A final decision on the capacity will be taken in the beginning of August.
Oslo Business Forum is also prepared for possible restrictions of the event, according to the Executive Producer, Andreas Kustås.
- We might see some restrictions at the event date in September, such as social distancing or similar, but we are well prepared for that. Actions to increase hygiene level and sanitary facilities will in many ways be the new normal for the event industry. We are ready to welcome our customers in a safe and healthy environment, he says.
